该软件由天津城建大学姚万祥开发，软件至今已开发过3个版本，其中太阳辐射基本参数计算软件V1.0采用《建筑热过程》中的相应公式；太阳辐射基本参数计算软件V2.0采用王炳忠《太阳辐射计算讲座》中的相应公式；太阳辐射基本参数计算软件V3.0借鉴并修正了王炳忠《太阳辐射计算讲座》中的相应公式。通过太阳辐射的实际测试及与相关设备厂家的沟通，太阳辐射基本参数计算软件V3.0的计算结果精度最高，该结论已被本人的博士论文《各向异性散射辐射模型的研究》及多篇SCI、EI论文《A new anisotropic diffuse radiation model》、《New decomposition models to estimate hourly global solar radiation from the daily value》、《Reply to “On the correct use of the Gueymard diffuse radiation model for tilted surfaces” by Christian A. Gueymard》、《Evaluation of global solar radiation models for Shanghai, China》、《New models for separating hourly diffuse and direct components of global solar radiation》、《New models for separating hourly diffuse and direct components of global solar radiation》、《几种散射辐射模型精度的对比》、《水平面日太阳散射辐射模型对比研究》所证实。
