The precise calibrating method comprises the steps that firstly, a reticle is installed into a first correlation light beam or a second correlation light beam, and the reticle is perpendicular to the light beam transmission direction; then, an angle ruler is used for measuring the included angle of the correlation light beams; finally, a photoelectric detector is used for detecting the projection, on a correlation signal, of the reticle and the time resolution is obtained through calculation. The precise calibrating method is insensitive to the pulse width of a calibrating pulse and can be used for obtaining the low-error and high-accuracy time resolution under the condition that when the pulse width of the calibrating pulse is close to or larger than that of an autocorrelator, the pulse peak of a correlation signal is difficult to distinguish due to the fact that the top changes slowly。
